Police finally allow journalists to cover ex-Kwara gov, Ahmed’s trial

Three writers speaking to print and broadcast media outfits have been permitted into the Government Tall Court, Destiny Ilorin to cover the trial of the quick past representative of Kwara State, AbdulFatah Ahmed, who is being attempted over charged N10 billion budgetary misconduct.

 

The induction of the select writers was after a few mediations, whereas others who had until now remained on the primary street were permitted into the court premises, anticipating the result of the trial.

 

Ahmed was brought into the court with the white transport of the Financial Monetary Wrongdoings Commission, EFCC, around 8:50 am for the trial.

 

The trial commenced at almost 9:30 am taking after the entry of the judge.

 

The police and court recorder had prior banished writers from entering the court, saying they were acting on orders from over.
